- No active tanning on the tattoo for two to four weeks before each session.
- Arrive with the area clean — no lotion or product over the tattoo.
- Hydrate well; a well-hydrated body clears fragmented ink more efficiently.
- Tell us about any keloid or scarring history at your consultation.
Aftercare
- Mild redness, swelling, or tenderness for several days is normal — most return to normal activities immediately.
- Keep the area clean and moisturized as directed; let any blistering resolve untouched.
- SPF over the treated area whenever it sees sun — healing skin holds pigment easily.
